Mass Effect CS2 Skins for N7 Day

KeyDrop Team

It’s N7 Day, everyone! For the 12th year in a row, Mass Effect fans are celebrating one of the biggest, most successful video game space operas of all time. If you’ve brought down some Reapers in your time, too, make this N7 day extra special by giving your CS2 loadout a Citadel-style makeover! There are plenty of skins that will feel like they came straight out of the Armax Arsenal store: here are the best Mass Effect CS2 skins to choose from.

AUG | Syd Mead

Price: $2–$10

We had to start with this one. Not only is it distinctly Mass Effect in style, it was also designed by Syd Mead—the artist whose futuristic work inspired Mass Effect concept art in the first place! Check out Syd Mead’s art, and you’ll instantly see a resemblance to many sights from the Mass Effect games, especially to various areas of the Citadel.

AK-47 | Orbit Mk01

Price: $17–$34

From the overall design to finer details like the stenciled number on the side, Orbit Mk01 looks exactly like something you’d find in a human colony. (Perhaps one that was targeted by the Collectors.)

M4A4 | Turbine

Price: $1–$8

Turbine is similar in style to Orbit Mk01, though it has a cool feature that makes it stand out: the see-through tube on the side of the rifle lights up with every shot. This M4 is supposed to look as if it shoots plasma, by the way (so no thermal clips will be needed).

AK-47 | Vulcan

Price: $160–$1060

Vulcan is by far the most expensive skin on our list, but it definitely deserves a spot here. Shame you can’t intimidate the store owner into giving you a discount. You can win Vulcan from a Key-Drop case, though!

MP9 | Airlock

Price: $2–$12

Airlock is another skin that reminds us of Horizon, maybe because of its resemblance to the buildings seen throughout the colony. From the colors to the textures and the exposed components on the side of the gun, this skin fits the ME loadout perfectly.

CZ75-Auto | Red Astor

Price: $0.40–$2

Red Astor has a mercenary feel… Very much like something an angry Vorcha would incessantly fire at you.

Desert Eagle | Directive

Price: $0.50–$14

Directive is giving off strong Omega vibes, looking like a custom weapon that a clever Quarian would put together from scavenged spare parts. Nice!

SSG 08 | Ghost Crusader

Price: $0.50–$4

Where my Infiltrators at?

The shape of the SSG 08 is reminiscent of the rapid-fire M-97 Viper from ME2 and 3, and the light color scheme only makes the resemblance stronger.

SG 553 | Phantom

Price: $0.50–$2

The SG is a modern-looking rifle in general, but Phantom elevates this look even higher, taking it into futuristic territory. The color scheme and textures work really well for the Mass Effect theme, and even the font used for the numbers on the handguard looks like the one font used throughout the entire ME universe.

MP7 | Cirrus

Price: $0.50

Remember the Executioner heavy pistol from ME3, used by the Blood Pack mercenary band? Well, in the same vein, Cirrus could easily be the SMG of choice for the Blue Suns.

Off World Skins

Looking like relics from the First Contact War, both Off World skins feature that futuristic-but-practical look that many Mass Effect weapons also have.

Cyrex Skins

Sporting N7 colors, skins from the Cyrex series look sleek and efficient. Perfect for a Spectre… and for holding the bomb site!

Asiimov Skins

You knew Asiimovs would make an appearance on this list sooner or later! With the white, orange, and white color palette, they look on-brand with the Cerberus aesthetic.

Mecha Industries Skins

This whole set looks like it came straight from an Elanus Risk Control catalog. The FAMAS in particular has a futuristic vibe, and all three skins are pretty affordable—the M4A1-S looks pretty good even in Battle-Scarred condition, so you don’t need to splash out on a Factory New.

Alright, that should be more than enough Mass Effect CS2 skins to build an awesome loadout for N7 Day and beyond! Just in case you need even more futuristic options, check out our list of the best sci-fi skins in CS2. Enjoy your next CS2 match—I leave you with the immortal words of one Undnot Grunt: “I don’t need luck. I have ammo.”
