The Armory update, released in October 2024, gave us over 100 new cosmetic items, including, for the first time, charms. These dangly little decorations are available only through the Armory, another new addition to the game. What are charms in CS2, how can you get them, and how do they work? Find out below!

What Are CS2 Charms?
Charms are dangling 3D figures that you can attach to your weapon—Valorant players will know them as Buddies. They can be attached anywhere on your gun, including on top of a sticker. They’ll dangle and sway realistically as you move, giving you a whole new way to customize your loadout.

Unlike stickers, charms can be removed from a weapon without getting destroyed. However, you’ll need a Charm Detachment Pack, available in the Steam store for $0.99. Once you’ve removed a charm from a weapon, it will return to your inventory, and you’ll be able to use it again if you want.
How to Get Charms in CS2
Charms are available in the Armory, where you can purchase them for Armory Credits. First, get an Armory Pass—it costs $16 and is available only to players with the CS2 Prime Status.
Once you have an active Pass, gain XP to unlock Credits (around 300 XP per Credit). One Charm costs 3 Credits in the Armory—a couple of hours of playing Deathmatch should give you the XP you need!
You can’t buy specific Charms. Instead, you can get a random Charm from one of two collections—check them out below.
All CS2 Charms in the Armory
Here are the two collections currently available in the Armory:
Missing Link Collection
Who wouldn’t want to defend a bomb and shoot CTs’ heads off with Lil’ Whiskers to keep them company? Won’t storming the bomb site be much more fun with a sausage-shaped chicken to boost your morale? I don’t know whether these are questions that Valve asked themselves when making these charms, but either way, the answers are 1. Everyone wants exactly that, and 2. Yes, it will.

The Missing Link Collection features sausage-shaped characters, including mini sausage versions of CS2 agents we know well, like Crasswater and Ava. Ther’s also a chicken, cute kitties, and a banana that looks like it’s not allowed within a hundred yards of any playground. Something for everyone, but just in case you’re not into little sausage people/animals/exotic fruit, perhaps the next collection will strike your fancy.
Small Arms Collection
Want to put a little AK on your actual AK for luck? Put a Pocket AWP on your Glock to keep your spirits up during an Eco round? With the Small Arms charm collection, you can! And hey, getting the Semi-Precious charm is almost like having a Blue Gem knife, right?
